Medical Visa (S2 Visa)
For medical treatment in China, most international patients require an S2 visa (short-term private visit visa) or an L visa (tourist visa) with a medical purpose stated. GCCC provides an official medical visa invitation letter to support your visa application.
Our support: Once your treatment plan is confirmed, we issue an official invitation letter from Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center, including the hospital's registration details, your planned treatment dates, and contact information — all in both Chinese and English to facilitate your visa application.
Visa Application Process
- Step 1: Confirm your treatment plan with GCCC
- Step 2: We issue your medical visa invitation letter
- Step 3: Apply at your nearest Chinese Embassy or Visa Application Service Center (CVASC)
- Step 4: Processing typically takes 4-7 business days (expedited service available in most locations)
Many nationalities can also apply for a visa on arrival or use China's visa-free transit policies (24/72/144 hours) for initial consultations. Contact us for guidance specific to your nationality.
